The Local Adaptation to Climate Change (LACC) Project works with communities in Nepal's Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
Our project empowers communities and local governments to build sustainable livelihoods and champion responsible management of their natural resources.
We believe in a future where inclusive growth and environmental stewardship go hand-in-hand, creating lasting prosperity for generations to come.
A Collaborative Effort for a
Climate-Resilient and Inclusive Future

LACC is a five-year project financed by the European Union, the Government of Finland, the Government of Nepal and local communities.
Our work builds on the success of the Rural Village Water Resources Management Project (RVWRMP), which operated from 2006 to 2022 in Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces.
